1972 Munich Raylene Boyle says in her book "Raelene" .... my start had not felt right and throughout the race I never seemed to get my technique smootly under control..... she still managed 2 Silver medals 100m 11.23 and 200m 22.45 to very aggressive East German competitors! Raelene Boyle is a legendary name synonymous with Australian sport and during her athletic career produced some inspiring performances, winning seven gold and two silver medals over four Commonwealth Games meets, as well as three silver meals at the Olympic Games.
