Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 - Released on 1st November 2024.
Ready to elevate your daily run? The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24 isn't just a running shoe; it's a cloud-like cushion for your feet, engineered to effortlessly carry you through every stride. The Adrenaline GTS 24 has been completely overhauled and improved, with a revamped upper, outsole and the addition of DNA Loft v3, replacing the v2 of version 23, while retaining the Guide Rails and stability that defines the Adrenaline GTS. The engineered Air Mesh upper is a dream come true for your feet. It offers the perfect balance of breathability, stretch, and structure, providing a comfortable and accommodating fit. You'll barely notice you're wearing shoes at all!
The Adrenaline GTS 24 builds upon the legacy of its predecessors, retaining the supportive heel counter, comfortable gusseted tongue, and reliable GuideRails system. However, the addition of DNA LOFT v3 takes the comfort and performance to a whole new level. Like the previous version, the heel counter is sturdy, well-structured, and well padded. The gusseted tongue is thick and comfortable, providing nice protection from the laces.
The big change is the upgrade to the supercritical DNA LOFT v3 mid-sole foam. The v3 foam has a softer, more compliant feel that is noticeable on the run for greater overall comfort, yet is still supportive enough for long days on your feet. When running, they feel light and responsive for a stability daily trainer. This revolutionary cushioning technology delivers a soft, smooth ride that feels like you're running on air. It adapts to your unique stride, providing lightweight comfort kilometre after kilometre.
Like the previous versions, The Adrenaline GTS 24 also features Brooks' iconic GuideRails holistic support system. This innovative technology gently guides your feet back to their natural motion path, reducing excessive movement and keeping you comfortable and injury-free. The supportive GuideRails that run along either side of the shoe to provide mild stability with the medial rail somewhat firmer than the lateral for more pronation support there.
The outsole rubber has been re-designed, but retains a similar layout. The new RoadTack rubber outsole is made with recycled materials and its layout integrates well with the shoe, offering excellent traction and a soft yet responsive ride and It doesn’t matter if you're pounding the pavement or cruising on a light trail, the Adrenaline GTS 24 delivers a smooth, supportive ride and has you covered. Durability is so far very good as expected with Brooks running trainers.
So, if you're looking for a running shoe that combine comfort, support, and style, look no further than the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 24.

Comparable shoes:
Brooks Adrenaline GTS 23: The previous version is very comparable throughout and was only a touch heavier at 286g, but the 24 with the Loft DNA v3 has a softer, livelier feel, but still has enough support for everyday runs. The Fit is comparable.
Brooks Ghost 16: The Ghost is a touch lighter at 269g and like the Adrenaline, has the same Loft DNA v3 foam improvement and a RoadTack outsole rubber and have similar fit and a heel to forefoot drop of 12mm. The two shoes are very similar, with the primary difference being the Guide Rails in the Adrenaline which the Ghost does not have as it is the neutral version.
Brooks Beast GTS 23: This is Brooks most supportive shoe, designed for runners with severe overpronation. It provides maximum stability and support, making it ideal for heavier runners or those with more significant gait issues that require strong corrective features. This shoe also features DNA Loft V3 cushioning throughout, providing a soft and plush feeling. The added cushioning is designed to handle more weight and offer a highly cushioned, stable ride for longer runs. Heavier than the Adrenaline, as it's built to provide maximum support and cushioning. It weighs around 337g (for men's size 9), making it bulkier and more substantial underfoot.
Mizuno Wave Horizon 6: This shoe is very comparable, although a little sturdier and heavier at 320g in a men’s US9 compared to the Adrenaline 24 at 283g. The Horizon has an 8mm heel to forefoot drop. This Mizuno trainer uses Foam Wave stability without sacrificing softness. It uses an asymmetrical design with a medial Rubber Wall which enhances stability.
Asics GT-2000 13: Is very comparable in the mild support running trainer market. It uses a different support method, the 3D Guidance System, which is in the form of a lateral guidance line that helps provide advanced adaptive stability for a smoother stride and transition from foot strike to toe-off. This shoe has an 8mm heel to forefoot drop and is a touch lighter at 275g.
A Brief history of the Brooks Adrenaline GTS
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS debuted in the mid-1990s as a stability shoe for runners with mild to moderate overpronation. Over the years, it evolved with innovations like BioMoGo cushioning and the introduction of GuideRails technology in the GTS 14, offering more targeted support while allowing for natural movement. The shoe became known for its blend of cushioning, stability, and comfort, making it a favourite for daily training. The Adrenaline GTS 24, released in 2024, continues this legacy with refined DNA Loft cushioning and enhanced GuideRails, solidifying its position as a leading stability shoe.
