Updating such an iconic and popular model is not so simple. Designers need to create a shoe that is more comfortable, performs more efficiently and has a smoother ride than previous models. Consumers who love the shoe want to see as little structural change as possible. Devotees of this shoe will not walk (or run) away disappointed with the traditional feel of the GT-2150. They will however, notice a subtle increase in performance and comfort.
Smooth transition is the focus of this shoe; from the moment the heel makes contact with the ground, right through to the propulsive phase of gait. The incorporation of both forefoot and rearfoot GEL, DuoMax, and a Space Trusstic in combination with Solyte and other lightweight upper materials makes this shoe, like its predecessors, a very consistent shoe that works a treat.
