Anima Sana In Corpore Sano - A Sound Mind in a Sound Body
In the beginning of the 2nd century BC, a Roman poet named Juvenalis left a famous phrase, "Anima Sana in Corpore Sano". Translated - if you were to pray to God, you should pray for a sound mind in a sound body. Taking the acronym of this phrase as the company name, ASICS was established in the sporting goods industry on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle for people is to promote sports.
